Vine Culture firmly believes in the importance of 'greening the planet' for sustainable living and in an effort to reduce our own carbon footprint, we support wine estates who have made it their very own focus and have heeded the call to make a difference.
Sustainability
Sustainability refers to environmentally responsible production and farming for future generations. We believe in sustainable practices and all the wine estates featured here do so too
Biodiversity
Refers to all the genes, species, ecosystems and processes that allow life to persist over time. When biodiversity is in tact, species are resilient enabling them to adapt to environmental changes. When biodiversity is lost, nature responds unpredictably making it difficult for growers to plan production and protect natural resources.
Organic Wines
This is wine made from organically grown grapes and has met certain standards for organic certification. All organic wine is produced without chemicals, pesticides, or fertilizers.

Many consider Reyneke Wines to be leading the organic & biodiverse wine movement.
Johan Reyneke is one of only a few winemakers in SA who produce biodynamic wines & is considered somewhat of a ground- breaker in this regard.
Their range of wines is probably one of the finest expressions of organic farming around.
To help offset our carbon footprint in delivering your wine to your door, Vine Culture will donate one tree sapling to SANBI / SANParks with every purchase you make.
These will be used for the Kirstenbosch Outreach Greening Program. No matter how small your order is, you will be contributing towards greening the planet through the planting of new trees.

Bright straw colour. Melon and stone fruit aromas with a firm and crisp minerality on the palate.
Lovely crimson red colour with fresh red berry aromas and ripe cherries on the palate. Balanced and well rounded.
Biodiversity & Wine Initiative Seal (BWI)
BWI status is issued to member wine estates to certify that the wine has been produced following guidelines for conservation and sustainability.
Integrity & Sustainability Seal
issued by the Wine & Spirit Board. This seal, certifies that the wine has been made in a manner that is respectful to nature and guarantees sustainable wine production.
