SHIRAZ / SYRAH
Shiraz has a fascinating history and legends abound as to its origins but what is certain is its unique character. This grape is dark in colour and has typical aromas of smoke, pepper, leather, black cherry, olive, spice and some meatiness. It is the second most widely planted red variety in South Africa and can be made in a variety of styles.
